Job Description:  We don’t settle for easy so that we are able to deliver brilliant results. The Broadcast media assistant is directly linked to supporting the Broadcast buying team and plays a vital role in campaign management. This role is fully immersed in the essential day to day details including managing all operational aspects of the buying cycle including set up, campaign management, promotions, posting, and reconciliation and reporting.  This position requires an eagle eye for attention to detail, stellar organization and the ability to multi task in a very fast paced environment. The idea candidate and is someone who has great verbal and written communication skills and is passionate about media in general and trends that impact our growing business.


  • Supports broadcast team with RFPs, plan/buy development, and presentations as necessary
  • Responsible for issuing and confirming insertion orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Completes trafficking, as needed
  • Works in conjunction with broadcast buyer/planner to compile and review promotional submissions
  • Maintain and track promotional activities and develop a client report at the conclusion summarizing activity
  • Collects and reconciles monthly media invoices and meets reconciliation deadlines
  • Creates and maintains budget summaries accurately
  • Works in conjunction with broadcast buyer to set up and collect TV post reports
  • Imports Electronic invoices into strata, our broadcast buying system
  • Maintains and updates our SQAD data subscription and is able to pull and review data
  • Learns and Develops the skills of negotiation in order to deliver the best possible outcome for a client
  • Create positive vendor relationships and attend important broadcast meetings
  • Possess awareness and proactive thinking in the evolution of the broadcast landscape by increasing knowledge of new technologies, advertiser demands and client experiences
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful campaigns that meet or exceed client goals
  • Expected to fully understand work flow process and collaborate with buyers on smooth daily administration of media authorizations, budget summaries, media invoices and reconciliation

  • 1-2 years’ broadcast experience a plus
