JOB DESCRIPTION

The digital media buyer plays a vital role by developing and executing thoughtful and intelligent media strategies plans and buys. The Digital Media Buyer will work to plan, buy, manage and generate insights from digital media campaigns. This role is fully engaged in the day to day media management and details of the account and is responsible for collaborating with planning teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages day to day work flow of digital plans and buys
  • Combines technical analytical ability with exceptional communication skills
  • Collaborates with media directors, supervisor, planner to ensure that digital is seamlessly integrated into media plan and buy presentations
  • Provides digital recommendations and is responsible for overseeing the entire digital buying process from research to reporting and reconciliation
  • Expected to have considerable media depth in all forms of digital: display, search, paid social mobile, video and contribute to the agency as a multi-dimensional and resourceful person
  • Is the source of knowledge of all the day to day details on digital accounts
  • Acts as an ambassador for NorBella by keeping up on media trends, attending industry events and inspiring client/creative partner confidence in our knowledge, experience, and passion
  • Actively meets with digital reps on an on-going basis to keep up to date with trends and the digital landscape
  • Experience working with a 3rd party adserving tool. Flashtalking and Doubleclick campaign manager (DCM) preferred
  • Programmatic buying experience is a plus
  • Works in collaboration with the content team and understands how paid and earned social work together
  • Works well in a fast-paced team environment and thrives on collaborating with team members
  • Collaborates with Director of Operations on workflow process for budget summaries, approvals and other process documents
