One Mission, Kid's Cancer Buzz-Off, Media Strategy and Social Media

We develop a cross-channel media strategy to help One Mission raise awareness of their cause year round and to support the Buzz Off for Kids with Cancer, a one day event where supporters, affectionally known as “buzzees” shave their heads in support of those dealing with pediatric cancer. All funds raised by donors and buzzees go directly to children with cancer and their families to give them the help they need at what is probably the most difficult time in their lives.

In 2014, our Content Marketing team was placed in charge of managing One Mission’s social media strategy for the Gillette Stadium Buzz Off. By creating a comprehensive organic strategy, developing special content for celebrity guests and providing real-time management, we helped One Mission’s social channels reach over 6 million accounts and double normal engagement on the day of the event.
